Muscle Car Technology

Muscle cars have begun to catch up with technology and that is a good thing. A restored hemi car is great and nothing like a bone stock big block Chevelle. However, if you want to drive a car there is nothing better than 1960's or 70's sheetmetal wrapped around today's technology!

The two cars shown are distant relatives, both use aerodynamic tricks (despite the fact that Troy's Chevy is a brick). they each have carbon fiber and also turbo-charged power plants.

The wheels and tires have helped drive-ability, today company's like bonspeed make forged wheels for virtually any car in 17"-24" sizes. The offsets can accommodate any need and the suspension technology has improved too. Some call this pro-touring or pro-modified, it really is called fun. Your wife or girlfriend will enjoy the Vintage air and you the Air Ride.

So build a muscle car to drive, I know that I am one with independent suspension and twin Paxton superchargers. Watch here there is more to come about that project!
